Alternatives To Burning Trash
I believe we need a strong policy state wide to stop all residential trash burning on a permanent basis. Giving permits allowing yard debris to be burned creates a toxic smokescreen for even more dangerous materials.
The massive polluter, the trench burner, has no place in any state that is serious about healthy air.
Our homes and neighborhoods should be assured of good air quality since we receive such toxic exposure everywhere else.
